    Casual Suits

Tailor made casual suits are the fine balance between formal and sporty style and thanks to their great flexibility a gentleman can really show his personality and creativity to define his unique style.

With the evolution of menswear shifting from formal to smart casual dress code, casual suits are fast becoming the favourite option for most gentlemen. As a proof an ever-growing number of City firms in Australia no longer require traditional business suits at work. This clearly opens a great deal of choices offering gentlemen the possibility to explore new styles and colours.

    Casual Suit

    Desert Storm Cotton Gabardine

The beige cotton gabardine provides a great vintage look that makes this casual suit increasingly charming with age. Extremely versatile and dynamic this casual suit can be worn all year around both as casual and smart casual, for a dinner out or at weekend, in the City or as holiday casual suit. This is the ideal suit for the creative professional that likes to be naturally smart without overdressing.
The jacket can be worn as a blazer with different colour chinos.
Vice versa the trousers can be worn on its own as chinos or combined with a different colour blazer.

Jacket style: unstructured, single breast, 2 buttons, notch lapel, 3 patch pockets, double vents.Trousers style: flat front, waistband with belt loops, slanted side pockets.

    Fabric: cotton gabardine (220gr/m).

Our tailor made casual suits are ideally single breasted.
Jackets feature 2 front buttons, notched lapels and side patch pockets. Trousers feature flat front and either plain or turn-ups bottom hems. For the most sophisticated gentlemen double-breasted suits are a great alternative. Though we recommend this style for cooler climate as double-breasted casual suit jackets look best when buttoned up. On the other hand single-breasted casual suit jackets are great even unbuttoned.

Baby Blue & Grey Checked Plaid Wool/Linen Blend

Great for Summer and perfect combined with a white poplin or linen shirt with loafers.

Jacket style: unstructured, single breast, 2 buttons, notch lapel, 3 patch pockets, double vents. Trousers style: flat front, waistband with belt loops, slanted side pockets.

    Fabric: lightweight wool/linen blend (250gr/m)

Our casual suits can be made in a great variety of fabrics, though we primarily recommend cotton. Our rich Italian cotton fabrics come in various weights and compositions — plain cotton, cotton/linen and wool/cotton — for different uses and performances. Linen fabrics are also great for casual suits for men, though the natural creasing factor restricts this fabric to a smaller niche of gentlemen who love a more relaxed look. Linen casual suits are excellent for summer lifestyles, with yachting and coastal landscapes serving the perfect backdrop.

In terms of colours, our casual suits can be made either in classic hues or patterns, though solid colours are still the more versatile option. At Sartorial Bay, we consider your skin tone and lifestyle to help you select a fabric and casual suit that complements your body and aesthetic and gives you timeless and comfortable wear.

Sartorial Bay casual suits are crafted by hand to look and feel incredibly luxurious. The versatility of our suiting allows you to effortlessly pair them with other garments in your wardrobe rotation to create a multitude of smart and sleek combinations that radiate sophistication.

Depending on the occasion, casual suits for men can be worn with or without a tie and pocket square, with a shirt or polo, with leather shoes, loafers or boat shoes. Sartorial Bay casual suits offer endless adaptability. Casual jackets can be worn separately as blazers and teamed with jeans for a cool sporty look. On the other hand, casual trousers can be worn alone as chinos or combined with a different colour blazer to accomplish a colourful casual look. Offering extra coverage and thicker fabrics to accommodate late afternoon winter affairs or for a smarter look for events that extend late into the evening, you’ll be ready for all occasions and eventualities with our double-breasted suits in Sydney.

Sartorial Bay’s tailor-made casual suits for men are both smart and casual, fitted and comfortable, and uniquely made with different details and styles to represent the individuality of our gentlemen.

    Grey Flannel

The vintage look of the grey flannel fabric provides great versatility. Hence depending on the choice of shirt, ties and pocket square this suit can be worn both as smart casual suit or business suit.

Jacket style: single breast, 2 button, peak lapel, patch pockets, double vents.
Trousers style: flat front, waistband with 2 buttons side adjusters, slant side pockets.

Fabric: Merino wool flannel super 120 (270gr/m)

What are your casual suits for men made of?

Our fabrics are weaved from fine and supple Italian cotton to ensure comfortable and resilient wear throughout your celebrations and events. We also offer linen casual suits for men to embrace a relaxed sophistication for garden parties, coastal events and yachting.

How many fittings will I need for a casual suit?

At Sartorial Bay, our attention to detail ensures you will receive a casual suit for men with a shape-framing figure like no other. Most of our customers typically need two to three fittings to achieve their desired look — however, if you require additional fittings, we will be more than happy to provide them.

Do you have ready-to-wear casual suits?

While we can’t predict the future, at this time, we don’t offer ready-to-wear suits. For a double-breasted suit in Sydney or a casual suit to fit like a second skin, it can only be achieved with a custom order suit. Made to the highest craftsmanship, our garments are not just a suit but a lasting investment that will keep you in style for years to come. While a ready-to-wear casual suit won’t give you a form-flattering fit with the same attention to detail, some of the other products and services we provide include:

Can you alter an existing suit I have?

Unfortunately, we cannot. At Sartorial Bay, we ensure that every garment that passes through our workshop mirrors our uncompromising quality — and we can’t put our name to work that doesn’t match these strict standards. We only alter garments that Sartorial Bay has made.

Can I get shirts and ties from you?

While we can’t provide you with a tie, we can custom-make a shirt to match your casual suit and any other garment in your wardrobe. Crafted from the finest Italian cotton and tailored to perfection, collars and sleeves fall precisely where they should for a sleek and contemporary fit.

Do you do bulk orders for casual suits?

Yes, we do. Whether you’re suiting up your groomsmen for a daytime wedding or simply want a choice of men’s casual suits for yourself, we can produce bulk orders to ensure your suiting maintains a high and consistent quality and the contemporary aesthetic Sartorial Bay is known for.
