    WEDDING SUIT FABRICS

When selecting the fabric for your wedding suit it is crucial to consider the cloth’s weight. Accordingly we take into account the location and season your wedding will take place. We are also aware that a groom may have a little nervous energy and some gentlemen perspire more than others. On this basis we usually tend to advise a lightweight cloth for most of  Australian weddings.

Here at Sartorial Bay, we take your wedding as seriously as you do. Being aware of how daunting it can be to make the right choices and create an ensemble to befit the groom, we recommend you take a little time to think about what kind of man you want to be on the day.

Wool has long been a material of choice for any gentleman’s suiting. Extremely resilient and less prone to wrinkling, it will impress a genteel air of sophistication on your big day. Featuring exceptional breathability and a plush, soft-to-the-touch feel, wool is an ideal choice for any groom’s wedding suit.

    FAQs

What are your wedding suits made of?

Our groom’s wedding suits are generally made from luxury wool, merino wool and mohair, sourced from the finest Italian and English mills. But if you have a different style in mind, we will always source the best fabrics to design you a suit you will enjoy for years to come.

How many fittings will I need before my wedding?

Most gentlemen need 2 to 3 fittings to achieve the look they want for their wedding. If you require additional visits, we are happy to offer further complimentary fittings to ensure you have a suit worthy of your big day.

How long before my wedding should I book you for my suit?

At Sartorial Bay, we pay particular attention to anything that leaves our studio. Unlike other tailors who outsource their work to Asia, our tailored wedding suits are crafted in Germany and Italy, taking the necessary time to finish your suit to impeccable standards.

Generally, our turnaround is 4 weeks from start to finish. However, we recommend leaving an extra buffer of time before your big day to ensure additional alterations can be carried out if needed.

If you have a last-minute event and can only consider wearing the best wedding suit for men, our rush service will deliver a suave new suit in just 1 week.

Do you have ready-to-wear wedding suits?

At Sartorial Bay, we enjoy a long reputation for delivering high-quality wedding suits in Sydney. A suit that fits like a glove can only be achieved by booking a custom suit with us. While we never say never, we currently only offer bespoke, one of a kind tailored wedding suits that are exclusively made to our client’s measurements and preferences.

Do you offer wedding suit rentals?

No, we don’t. The process of designing each of our tailored wedding suits is a very personal experience. Every seam, lapel and cut has been made exclusively to match the figure of our clients and can’t be replicated to fit another.

Can you alter an existing suit I have to make it appropriate for my wedding?

Unfortunately, no. We take pride in the quality of the work we do and ensure our groom’s wedding suits are of the highest quality. We only alter garments from Sartorial Bay.

Do you do bulk orders for my groomsmen?

We certainly can suit up your groomsmen. Give us the opportunity to suit up your best man and fellow groomsmen to ensure you maintain consistent quality and aesthetic standards in keeping with the vision you have for your big day. With their constant support throughout your life, there is no better way to show your appreciation than by giving those closest to you one of the best wedding suits for men.
